Auckland International Airport is also known locally as Mangere Airport; it is the largest and busiest airport in New Zealand, which serves more than 13 million passengers, located in the Mangere – western suburb of the Auckland agglomeration Manukau (21km to the south of the city center). Taxis and buses offer comfortable transportation to the proper hotels of Auckland, and around the city. Some of the accommodations take a convenient place within the airport area.
